Jacqueline Drayer
Founder and Principal
Jacqueline has more than ten years of experience harnessing the power of history. She is a senior architectural historian at Jacobs. Previously she was Richmond, VA’s city historian; a senior urban planner; and nonprofit manager.
Her accomplishments include leading preparation of more than a dozen National Register nominations and local designation of 13 historic properties. Jacqueline helped 10 vacant historic houses be rehabilitated and affordably sold in Milwaukee and revised historic district design guidelines for socioeconomic inclusivity. She has facilitated Section 106 consultation in 38 states, Puerto Rico and Washington, DC. Jacqueline wrote the first Section 106 cell tower policy adopted in Wisconsin. She recently developed the strategy for descendant collaboration at The Valentine, Richmond’s history and culture museum.
Jacqueline sits on the Museum District Association Board of Directors. She has held board positions at several historic preservation and economic development nonprofits. She earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees in American Studies/Historic Preservation at the George Washington University. View her resume on LinkedIn.
